Renovations
Only tradesmen registered with the HIA Master Builders Association or the Building Practitioners Board with an insurance policy to cover legal acitivity ($5 million) in respect of ANY damage to property, injury, consequential damage, fidelity guarantee, and Worksafe shall be engaged.
Under no circumstance will you breach the walls or floors of your apartment.
Please check with building manager in regards to appropriate flooring acoustic insulation when it comes to flooring renovations.
NO work will be undertaken on weekends or public holidays.
Working hours shall only be between 8am and 4pm weekdays
(contractors must be off-site by 4pm unless it is an emergency).
Please schedule large deliveries for renovations with the building manager.
NO materials or debris will be left or stored in the common area, building surrounds or in the street. Movement of all equipment and materials to and from your apartment will be co-ordinated with the Building Manager.
On completion of the works, any damage to ALL common area must be reinstated to it’s original condition at your expense. The Owners Corporation shall determine the nature and extent of any repairs, replacement and reinstatement necessary.

No work may commence until your application is approved by the Committee, or in the case of building works affecting common property, an appropriate Special Rule has been made and registered.
